Senior Business Development Lead

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for new and existing clients for information on Medical Device Software and Regulatory services and development. You will be responsible for managing the sales cycle through prospecting to closing for new and existing business. You will work closely with marketing to define lead generation strategies and plan new marketing campaigns and initiatives. You will be the first point of contact for lead follow-up and will be responsible for establishing key relationships to support the sales cycle. You will work with the RND leadership team to develop sales strategies and plans to increase opportunities aligned to RND’s company goals. You will proactively research organizations and startups to find partnership/project opportunities. You will attend industry events and tradeshows in multiple time zones. 

Responsibilities

  • Performing business activities for new and current clients to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives
  • Generating a constant flow of leads through prospecting
  • Creating and conducting sales presentations to solve prospect’s needs.
  • Offering customized technical solutions in collaboration with technical software engineers
  • Developing clear and effective written Statements of Work for prospective customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Required)
  • B2B sales: 5 years (Required)
  • US work authorization (Required)
  • At least 5 years as a Senior Account Manager in software development sales (required)
  • Exposure and understanding of full lifecycle software development for medical devices (required)
  • Understanding of developing software in a regulated environment (preferred)

Skills

  • Managing sales cycles from prospecting to closing
  • Expertise in identifying prospects’ needs
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with CRM (preferably Salesforce)
  • Proficiency with Linkedin and other networking tools
