Verification Lead
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have experience performing the lead role in testing a software product. The lead role should have included being the person primarily responsible for testing of the software product with optional supervision of other testers. The successful candidate should have experience generating test cases from requirements documents for medical instruments. The candidate will also be responsible for executing test cases and generating execution reports. The candidate must be familiar with the requirements for evidence gathering necessary for 510K submissions.
The majority of RND’s clients develop medical devices regulated by the FDA. The successful candidate will be able to quickly learn about FDA 21 CFR Part 820 – Quality System Regulation and IEC 62304 Software Development Lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience writing testing plans
Experience writing test cases
Experience executing tests
Experience creating and maintaining a trace matrix
Experience with defect tracking and defect management
Understanding of formal documentation process
Experience with quality systems – ISO 14971, ISO 9000, IEC 63xxx
A 4 year BS Degree in Biotechnology or related is required
Minimum of 6 years’ experience is required.
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills are required
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
