RND Group Named to 2021 Best Places to Work in Indiana List

Chamber to Announce Final Rankings on May 6th, 2021

Indiana companies throughout the state have rallied to adapt to the current climate and new ways of operation. A total of 125 of these businesses have been named to the Best Places to Work in Indiana list, which includes more than 30 newcomers from last year. We are humbled and excited to announce that one of those newcomers is The RND Group!

The annual program, which started in 2006, is presented by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

“With the extreme and unexpected challenges of 2020, we were delighted to see the program participation level stay relatively flat and that so many Hoosier companies responded to the pandemic in a way that their employees greatly appreciated,” offers Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar. “Company culture went far beyond the official benefits and perks to worker safety and taking job flexibility to levels that most couldn’t have imagined. All the employers honored should be especially proud to be on the list this year.”

Winning companies represent nearly 30 cities and towns across the state. In addition to Indianapolis, multiple winners hail from Carmel, Evansville, Fishers, Greenwood, Lawrence, Michigan City, Noblesville, Plainfield and South Bend.

The company rankings will be unveiled May 6 at an awards event sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College. The format is yet to be determined – either entirely virtual or a hybrid with an in-person option. Final determination will be made based on attendee safety and input of the winners.

Top companies in the state were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Best Companies Group, which handled the selection process, oversees similar programs in 25 other states.

Winners were selected from four categories: small companies of between 15 and 74 U.S. employees; medium companies of between 75 and 249 U.S. employees; large companies of between 250 and 999 U.S. employees; and major companies with 1,000 or more U.S. employees. Out-of-state parent companies were eligible to participate if at least 15 full-time employees are in Indiana.

The 2021 Best Places to Work in Indiana companies range in Hoosier employee count from 15 to more than 2,300.

Organizations on this year’s list that have displayed sustained excellence during the program’s 16-year history receive additional recognition.

In addition to the May 6 awards, winners will be recognized via a special section of the Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice® magazine and through Inside Indiana Business with Gerry Dick – both of which reach statewide audiences. Additional program partners are the Best Companies Group, Indiana State Council of SHRM and the Wellness Council of Indiana.

All companies that participated in the 2021 Best Places to Work program receive an in-depth evaluation identifying strengths and weaknesses according to their employees. In turn, this report will be used in developing and enhancing RND Group’s employee retention and recruitment programs.
