InstantLabs Partners with RND Group for Enhancements to the Hunter System Software

InstantLabs, a molecular diagnostic device company, developed and markets the Hunter Accelerated-PCR system, a fully-integrated, portable and affordable real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) platform for rapid, accurate pathogen detection.

The company currently offers the Hunter system to use with several foodborne pathogen test kits for the global food industry.  The Hunter system is especially well suited for use at points-of-care and points-of-need to detect and analyze a wide variety of common and problematic pathogens.

RND’s Role

InstantLabs was looking to enhance the software for the Hunter Systems to make it more versatile to the end user.  Key Tech, a product development partner, referred InstantLabs to The RND Group.

RND analyzed the requirements needed for the enhancements of this software and teamed up with InstantLabs to put together a plan to design, develop, and test the software for the Hunter System.
